Dental Assistant Cori Black Brings Her Love of People to Carolina Family Dental

Providing excellent service starts with having awesome employees. Five years ago, Cori Black joined Carolina Family Dental as a dental assistant, and since then she has proven to be a foundational rock for our practice. The team brag on her as a steady smile on tough days and someone who listens and helps her friends stay positive and encouraged. Cori is a great dental assistant, but an even better friend to the team here at Carolina Family Dental.

And Cori’s love of people doesn’t stop with coworkers. Besides loving her husband and two daughters tremendously, she also supports any local organization that “brings God’s love to the community.” We are so thankful to have Cori because she loves the patients so much. Her favorite elements with our work here are getting to know the patients and seeing them healthy. 

Beyond her love of work and people, Cori enjoys a good bible study as well as, ironically, a good horror movie (just to keep things balanced?) She’s a great dancer, and after her dedication to being a dental assistant, her next vocational passion would be as an interior designer or wardrobe stylist. Pair those with a dream to be a Disney princess and you can see why she’s a consummate Girl Mom. 

If you ask Cori what message she has for the patients, she will say exactly what you would think she would say, “Be as comfortable as possible. We’re all friends here.” That answer encapsulates what we love about her. Whether you are a team member or a patient, you always have a friend at Carolina Family Dental.
